Eastern United States Grape Fungicide & Insecticide Guides

Each spring since 1999, VineSmith, Inc. has published the annual Eastern United States Winegrape Fungicide Guide. In spring 2007, VineSmith, Inc. is releasing, in addition to the Fungicide Guide, the first annual Eastern United States Grape Insecticide Guide. Together, these "at-a-glance" color-coded posters help vineyard managers plan an effective and economical grape disease and insect management program. The first part of each guide -- the Pest Development Calendar -- illustrates, in color, critical control periods for each of the six major grape diseases and insect pests. The Application Restrictions section shows, in a comparative format, all limitations for the use of each fungicide and insecticide currently registered for use on winegrapes. The Control Options Calendar illustrates the efficacy, spray interval, rate, and cost per acre of each fungicide and insecticide.

The 2007 Eastern US Grape Fungicide Guide poster and the 2007 Eastern US Grape Insecticide Guide poster are sold together along with the Eastern US Pest Management Program booklet.  The booklet explains how to use the posters and how to select the best pesticides for each vineyard and each pest situation.
